Sarah Paulson In Talks To Join All-Female “Ocean’s Eleven”

The cast of the Gary Ross-directed all-female OCEAN’S 11 REBOOT (which currently has the working title of Ocean’s Ocho) has landed some major talent with being the latest actor circling the A-list roster.

The American Horror Story actor would join Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina for the spinoff heist pic.

Story details are being kept under wraps, but an early draft is rumored to be about Danny Ocean’s sister, an ex-con herself. With a team of thieves, she sets out of steal a necklace from the Met Ball and frame a crooked gallery owner.

Ross co-wrote the screenplay with Olivia Milch. Susan Ekins is set to executive produce while the original Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh is expected to be involved with the spin-off as well.

Paulson received two Emmy noms for her role in Ryan Murphy’s critically acclaimed The People Vs. O.J.: American Crime Story. She has also appeared in Murphy’s anthology American Horror Story and will reteam with the Glee creator for Feud. She also appeared on the big screen opposite Cate Blanchett in the Oscar-nominated Carol and can be seen next in the J.D. Salinger biopic Rebel in the Rye.
