Sarah Silverman Hooks (It) Up In “The West”

is in talks to join Seth MacFarlane’s comedy western .

Story follows a sheepish farmer who chickens out of a gunfight causing his girlfriend to leave him. Soon the wife of a notorious outlaw offers to teach him how to shoot, and the farmer at first sees a chance to win back his love but slowly falls for the woman. Complications ensue when the outlaw returns and reclaims his woman.

Silverman would play the town’s well-worn prostitute, who engages in all sorts of lewd activities but refuses to have sex with her fiancé, believing that as Christians the couple should wait until marriage before lying down together.

Producing will be MacFarlane and Scott Stuber.

Silverman was last heard in “Wreck-It Ralph” and currently does voice work for “Bob’s Burgers” on Fox.
