“Saturday Night Live” Election Special to Air November 7

Every four years, Americans are treated to some of the best writing and performances of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE with the presidential election and this year, network NBC will air a one hour 2016 SNL Election Special at 10PM EST/PST, the night before Americans cast their votes.

The special includes highlights of this year’s campaign with clips of recent episodes, featuring as Donald Trump and Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton.

The variety show is enjoying its most-watched season in eight years (since the election was Barack Obama and Joe Biden vs. John McCain and Sarah Palin). They are averaging 7.322 million viewers and 2.19 rating in adults 18-49. Hosts for this season have so far included Margot Robbie, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Emily Blunt, and Tom Hanks. Next up is Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch, set to host on November 5.
