Scoot McNairy has been cast in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, joining Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Henry Cavill and many, many others. Directed by Zack Snyder, the project is a sort of sequel to 2013’s “Man of Steel” but will feature more of the comic book characters we all know and love, including Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and, of course, Batman. Snyder, Affleck, and Cavill will also be involved in the next installment of the franchise, “Justice League.”
McNairy’s breakout role was in Ben Affleck’s drama “Argo,” but he has since gone on to star in AMC’s new drama “Halt & Catch Fire.” He has also made appearances in Gus van Sant’s “Promised Land” with Matt Damon and “12 Years a Slave” and “Frank” with Michael Fassbender. Next up, McNairy has landed roles in David Fincher’s “Gone Girl” and “Black Sea,” an adventure flick following a submarine captain on a search for a sunken sub loaded with gold.
