Felicity alums Scott Foley and Greg Grunberg are teaming with Shondaland to develop an UNTITLED RELATIONSHIP COMEDY PROJECT for ABC. Both Foley and Grunberg will write the story, while Foley will pen the script that centers on an engaged couple who, during their rehearsal dinner, listen to anecdotes about their relationship. Flashbacks of the events show that the stories aren’t always 100% accurate and the true story of their complicated and funny coupling is brought to light. Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers will executive produce.
Foley made a name for himself in the YA crowd while playing Noel on Felicity before going on to roles in series like The Unit, Grey’s Anatomy, and True Blood. He currently stars on Rhimes’ sexy political drama Scandal as Jake Ballard. Grunberg, likewise, got his start on Felicity before starring on Heroes, Alias, and Masters of Sex. The duo will reteam for comedy Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife, which Foley will starr in, direct and write.
