“Seal Team” Gets Full Season Order at CBS



New military drama series  has received a full season order from CBS, the broadcast network announced Thursday.

The David Boreanaz-led drama will now consist of 22 episodes for its first season. It follows The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as the second new CBS series this fall to receive the bump in episode order and vote of confidence from the network.

ABC’s The Good Doctor is the only other new show to receive a full season order thus far.

Ratings have held steady for the drama also starring Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, Toni Trucks and Jessica Paré, holding at 100% after three weeks of episodes.

The show is averaging averaging 12.04 million viewers, with a 2.0 in adults 18-49 and 2.9 in adults 25-54 in Live+3.

Benjamin Cavell, Ed Redlich, Christopher Chulack, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly serve as executive producers for CBS Television Studios.
