“Septillion to One” Taps Mark Romanek to Direct

Never Let Me Go director Mark Romanek has been tapped to direct romantic comedy SEPTILLION TO ONE. The script from Adam R. Perlman and Graham Sack was featured on the 2015 Hit List.

The story is inspired by a true story, it centers on an over-bearing lottery inspector who after fighting a custody battle for his daughter becomes convinced that a free-thinking seismologist has discovered a way to swindle the lottery and now he risks everything to prove it.

OddLot Entertainment, in addition to financing the project, is also producing with STX Entertainment. Gigi Pritzker, Tom McNulty, and Linda McDonough are attached to produce with Rachel Shane and Stacy Keppler overseeing the project for OddLot.

Perlman previously staffed on television series The Good Wife, State of Affairs, The Newsroom, and Drop Dead Diva.

In addition to Never Let Me Go, Romanek has also helmed One Hour Photo starring Robin Williams.
