Seth Grahame-Smith is currently in talks to direct and write Warner Bros. feature adaptation of THE FLASH. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller previously had atreatment set up with the intent to helm, but have bowed out in order to tackle Han Solo’s Star Wars spinoff film. Charles Roven is producing with Deborah and Zack Snyder executive producing.
The film already has Ezra Miller attached to star, with the character making a cameo in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and a substantial role in the following Justice League film in 2017. The release date for The Flash is already set as March 3rd, 2018.
Grahame-Smith has made a name for himself as a writer with his monster mash-up books Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. His screenwriting credits include the upcoming Lego Batman, Dark Shadows and Beetljuice 2. This will be his first time directing a feature film. He is repped by WME.
