Shailene Woodley is in talks to star in Oliver Stone’s UNTITLED EDWARD SNOWDEN BIOPIC. The biopic, based on the book written by Luke Harding, will center on the NSA whistleblower. Woodley would play Snowden’s girlfriend opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who will star as Snowden.
Woodley got her big start playing Amy Juergens in the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager, which led to her roles in The Descendants, The Spectacular Now, The Fault in Our Stars, and the Divergent series of films. Next up, Woodley will reprise her role as Tris for the upcoming installments of the franchise, Insurgent, Allegiant: Part 1 and Allegiant: Part 2.
Woodley is repped by Paradigm, Savage Agency and Principato-Young Entertainment.
