The popular Showtime series SHAMELESS about the dysfunctional Gallagher family has just added four new cast members: Alicia Coppola, Arden Myrin, Pasha Lychnikoff, and Ruby Modine. They have all joined the show, based on an original UK program, as recurring characters. Plus: The network has revealed what to expect from the upcoming seventh season, beginning a month after the last season’s finale.
William H. Macy’s patriarch Frank will wake up from his coma and find out his family threw him in a river, while Fiona (Emmy Rossum) continues to focus on getting her life back on track, moving on from last season’s betrayal, and shedding the baggage of her family. Her two younger brothers, Ian and Lip, will find themselves in new scenarios as well. The latter gets out of rehab with a new, grimmer vision of life, while Ian is in a comfortable relationship and doing well as an EMT.

Lastly, Lychnikoff is set to play Svetlana’s father, Yvan, and Modine will play Sierra, an employee at Patsy Pies with Fiona.
