Shea Whigham Joins “The Wolf of Wall Street”

has joined the already gigantic cast of Scorsese’s .

True story centers a Long Island penny stockbroker, who served 20 months in prison for refusing to cooperate in a massive 1990s securities fraud case that involved widespread corruption on Wall Street and in the corporate banking world, including mob infiltration. What role Whigham will play is not yet known.

Producing will be Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Killoran, Joey McFarland, Riza Aziz and Emma Tillinger Koskoff.

Whigham is known best for HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” but has recently starred in drama “This Must Be the Place” and action drama “Savages”. He can be seen next in “Silver Linings Playbook”.
