Brie Larson is in talks to reteam with Short Term 12 director Destin Cretton on the film adaptation of Jeannette Walls memoir THE GLASS CASTLE. The book tells the story of Walls life growing up as the child of an alcoholic father, unbalanced mother, and their nomadic lifestyle.
Larson’s notoriety has been growing rapidly over the past few years with a break out performance in Short Term 12, appearances in Joseph Gordon Levitt’s Don Jon and Jenny Lewis’ music video Just One of the Guys, as well signing on for Kong: Skull Island and possibly starring Billie Jean King in Battle of the Sexes.
She was seen in theaters this summer in the comedy hit Trainwreck opposite Amy Schumer and the independent film Digging for Fire. Recently, she has been garnering Oscar-buzz for her performance in A24’s Room which hits theaters October 16.
Larson is repped by WME and Authentic Talent and Literary.
