Paul Dano, Travis Fimmel, Anson Mount, Anton Yelchin and Paula Patton are all on the wish list for Warner Bros. WARCRAFT adaptation and an offer has been made to Colin Farrell.
Based on Blizzard’s wildly popular computer game,the film centers on Orcs, Trolls, Blood Elves, Undead and Goblins that come together to form the Horde and wage war against the Alliance, Consisting of Gnomes, Dwarfs, Night Elves, Humans, and werewolf creatures by the name of Worgens. There’s no word on what specific roles each actor would take but Farrell has been offered a lead.
Jon Jashni, Thomas Tull, Charles Roven, Alex Gartner and Josh Donen will produce.
Dano, repped by WME, can currently be seen in “Prisoners” and “12 Years a Slave.”
Fimmel stars in “Vikings” and is repped by Paradigm.
Mount stars on AMC’s “Hell on Wheels” and will next be in the thriller “Non-Stop.”
Yelchin starred in “Star Trek Into Darkness.”
Patton can be seen in “2 Guns” and “Baggage Claim.”
Farrell was last in “Seven Psychopaths” and “Dead Man Down.” He, Patton, Yelchin and Mount are all with CAA.
