Stephen King is a hot commodity, and Hulu is getting in on the action by releasing a trailer for their upcoming series CASTLE ROCK. The show plans on connecting the horror worlds of Stephen King into one multiverse.
The series comes from J.J. Abrams and will follow an investigation into the strange happenings of the fictional town of Castle Rock, Maine. Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason will serve as EPs and writers of the series. Starring is Melanie Lynskey, Bill Skarsgård (Pennywise from IT) and Sissy Spacek (Carrie).
Hulu has also announced they will be airing a preview of the upcoming series during the Super Bowl. Last year they featured an eerie look at their dystopian series The Handmaid’s Tale. If Hulu’s latest series is even close to the caliber of quality The Handmaid’s Tale is, we are in for a real treat.

A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maineseries stars André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Billy Skarsgård, Jane Levy and Scott Glenn. Sam Shaw & Dustin Thomason developed the project for television and serve as executive producers along with J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Liz Glotzer. Castle Rock is from Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
