The People Vs. OJ Simpson actor Kenneth Choi has joined the cast of SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING. Choi joins stars Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., and Marisa Tomei in the Sony/Marvel reboot the iconic superhero franchise. This won’t be Choi’s first foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he also showed up in Captain America: The First Avenger.
While details on the Spider-man reboot are being kept under wraps, it is expected to be focused on Peter Parker as a young teenager. Choi is reportedly playing Parker’s high school principal.
The film is being produced by Amy Pascal and Marvel’s Kevin Feige from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Matt Tomach, Avi Arad, and Stan Lee are the executive producers on the film from director Jon Watts.
Choi has previously appeared in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street and the FX series Sons of Anarchy. He’ll next be seen in the horror pic Stephanie from Universal Pictures.
