Spike Jonze is the latest big name to guest star on HBO’s GIRLS. The writer/director will appear in an upcoming episode of season 4 of the hit dramedy as a character named Marcos. Further details are few and far between but with a history of amazing guest spots, including Patrick Wilson, Rita Wilson, and Chris O’Dowd, Jonze is certainly in good company. Other guest stars appearing in season 4 include Gillian Jacobs, Jason Ritter, Zachary Quinto and Natasha Lyonne.
Jonze is most well known for his writing and directing credits, including the Oscar nominated drama “Her,” “Being John Malkovich,” and “Where the Wild Things Are.” However, Jonze has come out from behind the camera a number of times, appearing in “Three Kings,” as well as “Moneyball,” and “The Wolf of Wall Street” in small, uncredited roles.
