Stanley Tucci Set To Return For “Transformers: Last Knight”

Oscar-nominated actor has signed on to reprise his role as the anti-hero Joshua Joyce in the next installment of Michael Bay’s explosive alien robots-that-turn-into-cars extravaganza TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT.

Joyce was first introduced in Transformers: Age of Extinction. He joins an all-star cast that includes Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Jerrod Carmichael, Isabela Moner, Mitch Pileggi, Laura Haddock and Anthony Hopkins. Peter Cullen is attached to return as the voice of Optimus Prime. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy and Tom DeSanto will produce with Hasbro. Bay will direct the written by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Ken Nolan. The film is currently shooting and is slated to open in theaters on June 23, 2017.

Tucci was recently honored with a career tribute at the Deauville Festival. He recently was seen in the Academy Award-winning film Spotlight. He will also appear in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast and plays Jack Warner in Ryan Murphy’s forthcoming anthology, Feud.
