Sterling Jerins has now joined the upcoming Warner Bros. and Skydance picture GEOSTORM. The film centers on a satellite designer who has to team up with his estranged brother to save the world from a man-made storm that’s devastating the world on an epic scale. The film also stars Gerard Butler, Jim Sturgess, Abbie Cornish and Ed Harris. Jerins will portray Hannah Lawson, the daughter of Gerard Butler’s character. Dean Devlin will direct.
Jerins’ first feature film role was in the zombie tentpole flick “World War Z” starring Brad Pitt. Since then, the young actress has been busy, appearing in such films as “Butterflies of Bill Baker,” “Ruth & Alex,” “Lullaby” and “And So It Goes” alongside Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton. Jerins also starred in the 2013 horror hit “The Conjuring.” Up next, she’ll star in “Dark Places,” “Before The Bomb,” “Nobody Notices” and the Pierce Brosnan/Owen Wilson thriller “The Coup.”
