Steve Carell has replaced Bruce Willis in Woody Allen’s latest film. Willis was having schedule conflicts with his role in the upcoming Misery theatrical adaptation on Broadway and had to bow out of Allen’s film. The production schedule has not changed due to the recasting, and shooting begins soon in New York and LA. The plot is still unknown.
The current cast is packed with accomplished actors including Parker Posey, Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively, and Jesse Eisenberg. Letty Aronson and Steve Tenenbaum are producing with Edward Walson, and executive producers include Ronald L. Chez, Adam B. Stern, and Allan Teh.
Carell is repped by WME.
