Steve Pink has signed on to direct Disney’s OVERNIGHT. The family comedy follows a father and son who win an inaugural sleepover in an amazing toy store the same night thieves decide to rob it. Ruben Fleischer was previously being considered to helm the script from Oren Uziel.
Pink is best known for penning the script for “High Fidelity” and for helming comedies “Accepted,” “Hot Tub Time Machine,” and “About Last Night.” Pink is also on board to helm “Hot Tub Time Machine 2” and comedy “Vacation Friends” starring Chris Pratt and Anna Faris.
