Aldis Hodge is the next in a line of actors in talks to join Tom Cruise in his new JACK REACHER film. The Straight Outta Compton star joins the possible Cobie Smulders, who would play Reacher’s love interest, and Danika Yarosh, who would play Reacher’s daughter. No word yet as to what Hodge’s role would be.
Ed Zwick will direct the project, which follows Jack Reacher as he tries to find out why his former C.O. has been locked up, getting himself into deep trouble along the way. The most recent draft of the script is by Marshall Herskovitz and is based on Lee Child’s 18th Jack Reacher novel, Never Go Back.
Hodge is repped by Paradigm and the Priluck Company.
