Summer hit STRANGER THINGS from Netflix is gearing up for season two as they add Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery to the cast. They are also promoting Joe Keery and Noah Schnapp to series regulars from recurring. The show stars Wynona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and breakout star Millie Bobby Brown.
The series hails from Matt and Ross Duffer, and season one followed a mother, police chief, and a group of friends who confront terrifying forces in order to find a young boy who has disappeared.
Sink has been cast as Max, a confident and tough young girl with a complicated history and who is generally suspicious of those around her. Montgomery is set as Billy, the edgy older step-brother of Max with hides a violent and unpredictable nature under his charismatic persona.
Sink hails from Broadway having appeared in the revival of Annie and opposite Helen Mirren in The Audience. On the small screen, she was a series regular on American Odyssey and guest roles on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Blue Bloods, and The Americans.
Montgomery will be seen in the highly anticipated Power Rangers film as the Red Ranger opposite Elizabeth Banks, Bryan Cranston, and RJ Cyler.
