Warner Bros.’ highly-anticipated bad-guys-turned-heroes comic book movie SUICIDE SQUAD opens in theaters in about a week, but it seems as though that they weren’t quite finished with adding characters to its long roster of names. In a last-minute decision, Warner Bros. has decided to add a scene with one key member from the Justice League to the movie. (Spoiler alert: details from the movie will be revealed below.)
After making his debut in Batman V. Superman, Ezra Miller is set to zoom into his way into Suicide Squad as the Flash late in the game. No word on when the scene was shot, but it was announced today that the speedy superhero will appear in a scene during the movie as opposed to an end credits stinger.
This news comes hot off the heels of San Diego Comic-Con where Warner Bros. debuted footage of Justice League. Miller was instantly a scene stealer as Barry Allen (a.k.a. the Flash), bringing new life and much needed humor to the DC cinematic universe after the very drab and disappointing Batman V. Superman.
No details were given about the scene in which Miller will appear. Suicide Squad opens on August 5, while Justice League will open on November 17, 2017. Miller will star in the Rick Famuyiwa-directed Flash standalone movie which is set for a March 16, 2018 release date.
Miller is repped by Paradigm and Hamilton Hodell.
