Chambers, written by Leah Rachel, is about a young heart attack survivor who becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. However, the closer she gets to uncovering the truth about her donor’s sudden death, the more she starts taking on the characteristics of the deceased — some of which are troublingly sinister.
Akela Cooper will serve as showrunner and executive producer, along with Rachel and Stephen Gaghan. The 10-episode series will premiere in 2019.
My Beautiful Launderette will be based on the 1985 film of the same name, which starred Daniel Day Lewis. Alec Berg and Hanif Kureishi will also executive produce the project, which in the original film followed a Pakistani man and his boyfriend who ran a laundromat in London.
