Susan Sarandon in negotiations to join Adam Sandler and Amdy Samberg in the upcoming Columbia comedy I HATE YOU, DAD, as Mary McGarricle, a teacher who seduces a young Sandler into having sexual relations with her. As a result of their encounter, Mrs. McGarricle gives birth to their son, played by Samberg. When Samberg’s character grows up and is on the eve of his marriage, papa Sandler has to unexpectedly move in and a feud begins with the bride-to-be, played by Leighton Meester. The studio is also in negotiations with number of other actors to join the cast, including Dan Patrick, Tony Orlando, Eva Amurri, Blake Clark, Meagan Fay, Milo Ventimiglia and Will Forte.
Sean Anders and John Morris will be at the helm and Sandler is producing through his Happy Madison Productions.
