THE ICE BENEATH HER by Camilla Grebe has landed at New Line Cinema with American Sniper‘s Andrew Lazar attached to produce. The book is often compared to previous adaptations Gone Girl and Girl On The Train.
Similar to other popular psychological thrillers, Ice Beneath is told from an unreliable narrator and revolves around an investigator and psychological profiler who work to solve the case after a young woman is found beheaded in the home of a prominent businessman. The investigation quickly evolves into a race against time.
The deal was brokered by RWSG on behalf of Ahlander Agency.
The book is set for release this December in the US through Ballantine Books. This is Grebe’s first solo novel, having teamed up on previous works. She is also a co-founder of Swedish audio book publisher Storyside.
