Johnny, forlorn and alone except for his pet chicken, meets a kind woman who gives him seeds that change his fortune, allowing him to speak with animals and sending him on a quest to rescue a stolen prince. In the face of a bullying tyrant king, Johnny and his animal friends come to understand that generosity, empathy, and quiet courage are gifts more precious in this world than power and gold.
The animated comedy from directors Alessandro Carloni (Kung Fu Panda 3) and Pixar vet J.P. Vine is scheduled for Nov. 6, 2020.
Based on the 2009 animated short “Pigeon Impossible,” the Fox Animation projection overseen by Blue Sky Studios and Chernin Entertainment will be released by Fox on Jan. 18, 2019.

It’s been a busy week for 20th Century Fox Animation. In another deal, the studio has landed the rights to The Littlest Bigfoot by Jennifer Weiner, recently published this week by Aladdin Books.
20th Century Fox Animation is moving forward with Zita the Spacegirl. The studio has secured the rights to the graphic novel trilogy from Ben Hatke and intend to turn the series into a feature-length adaptation at Chernin Entertainment.
As we first reported last week, a new family-oriented sci-fi book Rex hit the market with some real heat behind it. Now, the YA adventure has made its way into some of the town’s biggest animation studios. 
When an eleven year-old boy and his friend find a mysterious egg in the Florida Everglades, creepy men begin to stalk his house and military helicopters start buzzing their neighborhood. But when the egg hatches, the boys realize life as they know it will never be the same!
