Bron Animation has picked up the rights to Lois Lowry’s popular children’s novel The Willoughbys. The book will be adapted by animation veterans Kris Pearn and Adam Wood, with Wood also stepping in to direct.
Follows the four Willoughby children: Timothy, twin brothers Barnaby A and Barnaby B, and little sister Jane, who are abandoned by their oblivious parents and must learn how to create a new family of their own.
Logline: Follows a down-on-his-luck con-artist who meets a woman whom he offers to teach the tricks of his trade. She turns the tables on him and they embark on a road trip, along with a 10-year old Mexican boy, where they are pursued a Confederate newspaper mogul.
Logline: Centers on a struggling New York radio journalist who fakes front line war reports while hiding out in his apartment in Manhattan.
Logline: When a hapless janitor in Supervillain City’s Bad Guy Museum accidentally ends up in a dangerous mechanized suit, the easygoing, nonconfrontational head of the henchmen’s Union of Evil has to become a hero in order to save the janitor, and the city.
Logline: Follows the relationship between a wanted thief and his young protege.
Logline: A woman with dissociative personality disorder wins the lottery and decides to spend her winnings on a cable access talk show about her life.
Logline: A small town loner and a rebellious punk rocker unexpectedly fall in love as they are forced on the run and soon discover violence follows them everywhere.
Logline: A woman returns to her hometown to try and sober up after she seriously embarrasses herself in New York.
Logline: A struggling talent agent manages to book his young client in a potentially major film role, but before the shoot begins he finds out her father might be molesting her.
Logline: A poacher’s family is threatened after he accidentally kills a young runaway and discovers a case of blood money.
Logline: A down-on-his-luck man is on a desperate quest to unlock a memory.
Logline: A broken family is reunited for a final farewell to their dying father, husband and mentor.
