Harvey Specter’s panic attacks came back this week on Suits and I’m glad they did. In a world where so many writers drop the ball on their previous storylines it was nice to see this one continue on and show that the problem still isn’t solved and comes back at the worst times.
In true Suits fashion the rivalry between Harvey Specter and Louis Litt has only increased since Donna became Louis’ secretary. In a typical ‘Louis Litt’ move, Louis tries to prove his loyalty to Harvey by setting up a situation in front of the board then defending Harvey. Of course, it backfires.
Big things are happening at Pearson Specter Litt as the fifth season of Suits returns. This show rarely disappoints in its drama and characterizations and this premiere, among ranking as one of the best, brings those elements that they’re so good at and elevates them to a different height.
Gotham wrapped up it’s freshmen season with a showdown between two characters and a mob war taking over the city of Gotham. While this week did give us a few more insights into certain characters, it really left more questions than answers.
Tonight’s episode of Gotham led us down even creepier territory than we’ve seen before and kicked off the long-promised mob war between Falcone and Maroni. Barbara Kean, ever the damsel-in-distress, continues that streak as The Ogre takes her hostage in his soundproof and very disturbing apartment.
