Season 1, Episode 9 – Falling Water reveals Bill Boer for who he really is, what he really wants, and what he plans to do. While everyone searches for the boy to fix whatever is wrong in their lives, Burton comes the closest to getting what he desires in the penultimate episode of the season.
Season 1, Episode 8 – Burton continues to search for the woman from his dreams on Falling Water as the connections between characters solidify. Tess and Bill search for her son, but a warning from a friend reveals Bill may not be who he says he is. Taka finally makes a connection with his mother, but what has she been waiting for?
Season 1, Episode 6 – The dreaming process in Falling Water is explained, and the ability to invade other people’s dreams is realized as Burton and Tess experience having their own dreams invaded by others. Taka continues his quest to reach his mother in the hopes she’ll eventually wake up, but does the cult have ulterior motives in helping him?
Season 1, Episode 5 – There’s something strange and remarkable about Tess’s son on Falling Water that makes him extremely valuable, but what is it? What connection does Tess’s mother have to the cult, and is there also a cult connection with Taka’s mother? Can Burton save the woman from his dreams before it’s too late?
Season 1, Episode 4 – Tess, Taka, and Burton all continue to break boundaries between the waking world and the dreaming world in Falling Water, but what does it all mean? The only thing connecting them all is their ability to lucid dream, but is there something bigger at work? The show’s narrative continues to unravel at a snails pace while looking visually sumptuous all the while.
Season 1, Episode 3 – The mystery inside of Falling Water is whether or not what the main characters are experiencing is reality or a dream. If they’re experiencing shared dreaming, what is it about them all that gives them the ability to do this, and is there a deeper meaning behind it?
Season 1, Episode 2 – Can Falling Water survive its dull first two episodes and transform into a far more interesting show, or will it continue to tread water and eventually peter out? A show with a solid premise like this shouldn’t be wasting it’s promise and boring it’s viewers, but that’s exactly the problem this show is having.
Season 1, Episode 1 – Three strangers experience incredibly vivid dreaming in Falling Water, and somehow share the ability to enter into each other’s dreams. Is there something special about them, and who is Bill Boerg and why does he want to use their abilities?
