Voight joins Eddie Redmayne, who leads a cast consisting of Alison Sudo, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Faith Wood-Blagrove, Katherine Waterston, Jenn Murray, and Samantha Morton. Fantastic Beasts, which began production in August, follows Redmayne’s Scamander as he travels to NYC documenting magical creatures and encountering fellow wizards.

Colin Farrell has joined the cast of the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. He will play Graves, a wizard that Eddie Redmayne’s Newt Scamander meets in New York. David Yates is directing what Warner Bros. has said will be the first in three part trilogy.
Cera is going to reteam with Will Arnett instead of tracking magical creatures.
The film, which marks the screenwriting debut of author J.K. Rowling, is set in Rowling’s wizarding world nearly seventy years before the heroic adventures of the boy who lived. Fogler will play the role of Jacob, a muggle (non magical person) who befriends Eddie Redmayne’s magizoologist Newt Scamander
The pic is loosely inspired by Rowling’s book of the same name, which serves as a Hogwarts textbook in the Harry Potter films. Sudol will play the role of Queenie, younger sister to Katherine Waterston’s Porpentina. Queenie and her sister encounter Scamander when he arrives in NYC.
Sources reveal that Miller has long been the favorite to take on the role of Kredan, a wizard who encounters magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) when he lands in New York City on his mission to find and document magical creatures.
Waterston will play Porpentina, who comes across magiczoologist Newt Scamander (Redmayne) when he arrives in New York City on his expedition to discover and document new magical creatures, set seventy years before the boy who lived’s adventures.
Sources confirm that Dakota Fanning, Saoirse Ronan, Lili Simmons and Alison Sudol are being eyed to star as Queenie, while Kate Upton, Elizabeth Debicki, and Katherine Waterston are in the running to play Queenie’s older sister, Tina.
The “Dr. Who” star is a current frontrunner to star in the “Harry Potter” spin-off film.
The “Harry Potter” director has been confirmed for the Potterverse spin-off.
