Betty still hasn’t killed anyone. Let’s let this sink in for a moment, because this is a show about a murdering couple and we still have Betty with her hands clean. This anticipation is not fun! The fun of the show is supposed to be watching Bonnie and Clyde on their murder spree and we’re still setting things up in episode three.

In its second episode, “Running With The Devil,” Wicked City held continued with great acting, but struggled with pacing. With four different storylines, the episode attempted to fit in a lot of information, but the goal of the show is to watch this pair kill together and we are still waiting for the “murdering Bonnie and Clyde” to begin their spree.
We waited a whole hour to see Betty kill as was promised in previews, only to have watched an hour prologue. What the show actually is, is a cat-and-mouse game front and center, and Betty’s descent into serial killer a nasty side effect. This episode was so well done overall, and I am so excited to see how it plays out over the course of the season.
