douglasarkinxcerptThe prolific television producer is already arranging his second Netflix series, following Disjointed with Kathy Bates, which premieres on the network August 25. The show would be Douglas’ first major television series since 1972 and Arkin’s since 2002. It would also be the first time the star of 1979’s The In-Laws and the star of its 2003 remake appeared on-screen together.

A retired hitman in his sixties is assigned to kill his partner and friend for mistakes made during a previous hit, on the night that the partner gets out of jail. With a deadline set for the next morning, the two buddies decide to have one good night doing things they have always wanted to do, but were never able up until time runs out.

Logline: Story centers on a woman who accidentally receives a Social Security check in the amount of $900,000 instead of the normal $900. At the incessant urging of her best friend, she deposits the money and escapes her small Ohio town for Las Vegas.

Logline: Story follows a pair of security experts who begin robbing houses in order to drum up business for their failing home security business, only to have things go awry when they steal from the wrong person.

Logline: Story centers on two retired boxers, and lifelong rivals who are coaxed out of retirement and into the ring for one final grudge match – 30 years after their last title fight.

Logline: Based on a true story of an American sports agent who discovered two Indian teenagers in a village who could throw 95mph fastballs, and brought them back to the US, moved in with them, teaching them English, American culture, and the game of baseball. At 19 years old, they signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates with million dollar contracts.
