Kathy Bates did not appear in the last season as she was in the midst of filming her Netflix comedy series Disjointed. Bates and Sarah Paulson have both received Emmy wins for their team ups with executive producer Ryan Murphy in the past.
Season 7, Episode 11 – Kai finally ends up in prison after all of Ally’s maneuvering, only to escape and go after her when he sees Ally running for “his” senate seat.
Season 7, Episode 8 – Yet again Kai mysteriously knows everything and we get some “shocking” twists and murder some people. Luckily, Winter might yet save the day, at least from being incredibly boring.
Season 7, Episode 7 – This week we dive real deep into the cult aspect of “American Horror Story: Cult”. We open on Valerie Solanas, an angry separatist feminist who’s betrayed by Andy Warhol after he agrees to produce her script, and then loses it.
Season 7, Episode 5 – We stay in the past to see the inner workings of Kai’s cronies and learn of a few surprising members and their connections. We also find out Ally is a little less clueless than we’d assumed.
Season 7, Episode 4 – This week we flashback to find previously unknown connections between the characters, and to learn about how Kai recruits his acolytes.
Season 1, Episode 3 – The show continues to lean on weird clowns and jump scares superficially connected to the election while utterly neglecting to do anything remotely interesting.
Season 1, Episode 2 – Ally starts to fall under the pall of conservative fear-mongering. A power outage separates the family, and unleashes the clowns.
Season 7, Episode 1 – We meet the new cast of characters right as the results of the 2016 Election roll in, and see how they deal with living in this new world. This new world might also involve clowns.
Lena Dunham will join Season 7 of American Horror Story, creator and showrunner Ryan Murphy announced Wednesday. The news comes a day ahead of the reveal of the title of the upcoming installment of the FX horror anthology series. Billie Lourd and Billy Eichner are also joining the franchise in Season 7.
