Apple Wins Isaac Asimov “Foundation” Series from David Goyer, Josh Friedman
The series of science fiction novels have been influential on everyone from George Lucas to George RR Martin, but previous attempts to turn it into a feature film or television series have generally failed.
The tech giant has purchased previously-produced films like the Clive Davis doc, but an anthology series based on the cult ’80s show would move them into a new position as a product creator as well as distributor.
