“At some point we can’t just keep sitting on the sidelines and hoping to enjoy the fruits of other people’s labor or being led by other people’s greed. [Activism] is not just for the young people to do,” says executive producer Mara Brock Akil.
The latest trailer showcases a little more of Pierce’s daughters, as they begin to uncover that superpowers run in the family.
The network’s newest DC superhero will make his debut following The Flash. Midseason return dates for all other shows have been revealed as well.
The actress will recur in multiple episodes and play the love interest to Anissa Pierce (Nafessa Williams).
