In two days, the macabre report made national headlines and has already captivated Hollywood interest. I’m hearing that in a mad scramble to be the first out of the gate, several packages are being shopped all over town.
The spec, written by Gregg Maxwell Parker and Sean Finegan, out this month from Paradigm and Madhouse Entertainment, has just sold in a high six figure deal to Universal.

When a man joins his estranged daughter on a mountain climb in an attempt to repair their relationship, a tragic accident leaves them stranded hundreds of feet in the air; as a storm sets in, the two must fight against the elements and terrifying heights in order to survive.
Logline: Explores the case of Jeffery MacDonald, who was convicted in 1979 of murdering his pregnant wife and two daughters and sentenced to serve a life sentence for each of the three murders. However, the case against MacDonald may have contained false elements entirely.
The writer/director will produce and direct films under his Phantom Films banner.
The “Stomp the Yard” director is set to helm Blumhouse’s Trinidad-set horror film.
Logline: A group of rambunctious young men head to world-famous Carnival in Trinidad to celebrate the bachelor party of one of their friends. While reveling int h debauchery, they unwitting cross paths with the wrong group of locals and one by one fall victim to an underground evil deeply hidden in Trini culture and religion.
Logline: A woman famous for undergoing an exorcism as a young girl must now face the demon that plagued her once again when it possesses her daughter, forcing her to follow the clues of her past in order to seek out one of the last few priests still practices the dying art of exorcism.
Uni looks to Jason Blum & Co to pull this long dormant remake out of development hell!
Logline: Revolves around an orphaned teenage girl who becomes an online recording sensation. She and her friends embark on a music-driven scavenger hunt that sends them on an adventure across Los Angeles in an attempt to unlock a final message left by her father.
