grace of kings excerptFantasy series the Dandelion Dynasty is getting a feature adaptation from DMG Entertainment who has picked up The Grace of Kings with plans in the works for a franchise. The series from Ken Liu is described as “silk punk,” or a blend of sci-fi and fantasy that also utilizes classical East Asian antiquity.

Logline: Centers on a physics professor who is forced into an alternate reality where he suddenly realizes that the world he’s come to know is completely wrong.

Logline: Pitched as “Oceans 11″ meets “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” — 11 female agents join forces to sting the world’s foremost spy, the man who betrayed each of them, and hung them out to dry, or even worse… left for dead. An upside down spin on the “James Bond” story.

Logline: When a single father in hiding loses his teenaged daughter on a layover in Las Vegas, he must confront the demons of his deadly past to save the only thing that matters, his child. Pitched as “Heat” or “Taken” meets “History of Violence”.

Logline: Centers on William Gravel, a British soldier with a surly demeanor and no ambition beyond closing time at the pub, who uses his powers in dark magic to battle zombies, beasts, and other supernatural beings for clients in order to make some extra cash.
