Now just days away from the release of this year’s Young & Hungry List, we wanted to recognize one more group of writers: those who made the list just one year ago.

Logline: Pitched as a hostage thriller in the vein of “Dog Day Afternoon”. When a hapless would-be-criminal winds up stuck in a drug tunnel with the cartel on the Mexican side and the DEA on the American side, the hostage he takes might be the only thing keeping him alive.

Logline: A wealthy but morally depraved couple pick up a few cash-strapped guys at a dive-bar, hoping for a fun-filled evening of cheap thrills.
