Animated “Deadpool” Series Coming Soon from Donald Glover, His Brother Stephen, and Marvel TV
Donald Glover’s impressive juggling of Atlanta and Deadpool for FX (not to mention thriving film and music careers) mirrors that of Noah Hawley, who created Fargo for the network before launching the comic book adaptation Legion to great success.
While the debate continues over whether or not Deadpool will receive any Oscar love, The People’s Choice Awards is happy to show the actioner the love, as the film picked up wins for Favorite Action Movie and Favorite Movie Actor.

This morning the Writers Guild of America announced their theatrical and documentary screenplay nominations for the 69th annual Writers Guild Awards. These awards will be given out at simultaneous Los Angeles-New York ceremonies on Sunday, February 19.
Ahead of their awards ceremony on Friday, January 27, the ACE Eddie Awards have announce this years nominations. Picks were chosen by members of the American Cinema Editors and continue the reigning favorites of awards season with La La Land, Moonlight, and Manchester by the Sea all landing noms. 
Last night, the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards handed out the top prizes to various categories in film and television, further heating up the awards race. Damien Chazelle’s musical breakout La La Land took top honors for film, while Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley nabbed the highest awards in the television race.
This weekend Fox aired the 18th annual Teen Choice Awards, hosted by John Cena and Victoria Justice. The big winners of the night were actor Dylan O’Brien and recently rebranded Freeform network.
