Season 2, Episode 11 – Greg and Katie try to fight their feelings, Carol tries to get a paying job, and Chuck and the gang try to fight a lawsuit against the network.
Season 2, Episodes 7-8 – Carol discovers the wrongs of her Christmas ways and Chuck finally realizes he’s racist and sexist in these hilarious back-to-back episodes.
Season 2, Episode 3 – In a very topical third episode of the second season, the show’s comedic stylings shine as the team takes on sexual harassment in the workplace.
The peacock network has set their fall premiere dates with the week of September 25 kicking off a week of new seasons. Will & Grace revival will take its place, unsurprisingly, in the heart of NBC’s Thursday night lineup with the 9pm slot.
Season 1, Episode 9-10 – It’s time to say goodbye to Great News, but not forever—the show will be returning in the fall. These last two episodes prove that NBC was absolutely right to renew it, as they prove that it can sustain a story throughout several episodes.
Season 1, Episode 7-8 – Great News delivers its funniest two episodes of the season, with “The Red Door” being a near perfect half hour of comedy ending with some of the show’s biggest laughs yet. This promising show seems to have finally hit its stride.
The peacock network is working hard to bring Must See TV back to Thursday nights as we see in the schedule for released for this fall. The Will & Grace revival will take its place kickstarting Thursdays where it will be joined by Great News and the sophomore season of breakout hit This is Us.
Season 1, Episode 5-6 – Great News continues to be enjoyable, especially for a network comedy, but it’s over halfway through the season and it hasn’t completely found its footing yet. The ensemble gets a chance to shine this week, but Katie remains the weakest link.
Season 1, Episode 3-4 – Chuck continues to be the MVP of Great News, as the show delivers two amusing, but uneven episodes. Katie’s character needs some improvement, but the show’s capable of absurdly hilarious moments.
Season 1, Episode 1-2 – Great News premiered this week with a promising two episodes. While the 30 Rock comparisons are inevitable, as the shows share an executive producer (Tina Fey), writer (creator Tracey Wigfield), and a similar setting, Great News is strong enough to stand on its own.
