Divorce Excerpt
Season 1, Episode 10 – It’s finally the season finale of Divorce. I made the mistake of thinking it was 2 episodes ago, but nah. It’s the end, and it’s a brutal one. There is nothing funny about this episode whatsoever.

the affair excerptSeason 3, Episode 4 – The Affair heats up with Cole (Joshua Jackson) and Alison (Ruth Wilson). Cole’s wife, Luisa, (Catalina Moreno) can sense something is going on with those two but can’t confirm whether it’s true or whether she’s crazy.

the affair excerptSeason 3, Episode 3 – Is that Brendan Fraser? That’s all I could think about while watching episode 3 of The Affair. Turns out it is, and he is creepy as hell as John Gunther, Noah Solloway’s worst nightmare.

the affair excerptSeason 3, Episode 2 – The Affair gives us Helen’s (Maura Tierney) and Alison’s (Ruth Wilson) perspectives on what’s been happening in the last 3 years, and of course, it’s different from Noah’s (Dominic West).

jane the virgin excerptSeason 3, Episode 6 – Jane the Virgin is really struggling with the way it treats Pobrecito Michael, but this treatment is important in really understanding that Jane isn’t really feeling him (Yep, I said it). Factoring in her sexy cousin Catalina, Jane might be re-thinking why she’s married.

the affair excerptSeason 3, Episode 1 – What the hell is happening on The Affair? The Season 3 premiere introduces us to Noah (Dominic West) somewhat fresh out of jail for killing his estranged wife’s ex-husband’s brother or something like that. A ghost from his jail chronicles is following him, and we’re not sure why. But something between those two characters must have went down, and I’m hooked to find out what.

Divorce ExcerptSeason 1, Episode 7 – Divorce is not only about romantic secrets. It’s also about financial ones. Robert (Thomas Haden Church) has been doing some dirty financial things behind Frances’ (Sarah Jessica Parker) back, and she is none too happy about it.

Divorce ExcerptSeason 1, Episode 6 – Divorce gives us a preview of what could be with Robert and Frances if they decide to forgive each other. They could be Frances’ (Sarah Jessica Parker) parents. There’s nothing wrong with that. Or so it seems.

Divorce ExcerptSeason 1, Episode 5 – Frances (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Robert (Thomas Haden Church) are battling it out with divorce lawyers. One is the best in the business. The other is the best shark in the business. As if this couldn’t get any more ridiculous, these two use pettiness to make it sting even more.

Better Things ExcerptSeason 1, Episode 9 – Thursday’s episode of Better Things has a strange name: “Hair of the Dog.” I don’t get it, but the episode is actually strange in the way Sam (Pamela Adlon) interacts with characters of color. Here’s a thinkpiece that you aren’t expecting. IMO. IJS.
