After a week off, Black-ish returns true to form, with a funny episode that deals with every parent’s worst nightmare—confronting the fact that you won’t always be there for your kids—with the show’s signature mix of humor and heart.

Broad City delivered a powerhouse episode where both Abbi and Ilana were forced to deal with disappointment and heartbreak in their relationships, but with the show’s signature weirdness and edge. I’m sorry for doubting this season. This episode turned me into a true fan again.
In this week’s episode, we see the disastrous effects of Eddie’s lie about Miranda Frank, Cal begins laying the groundwork for his takeover of the movement, and Sarah shows her crazy side.
Is The Ranch, objectively speaking, a good show? No. But is there an audience for it? Maybe.
Not everything was perfect in this episode, but the big reveal at the end made it all worth it.
The Path, Hulu’s latest original drama, is the streaming service’s bid to win an Emmy, starring critical darlings Michelle Monaghan, Aaron Paul, and Hugh Dancy, and it seems like they might have a real shot at it.
This week’s Broad City had Abbi and Ilana decide to rent out their apartments on B&B NYC, an Air BnB stand-in, staying out all night as they have nowhere to crash. After last week’s trip to Pennsylvania, it’s great to see them back in their natural environment again.
The Family finally reveals a major secret about Adam’s identity. And just like that, I’m into this show again.
Tony Danza, Kelly Rohrbach, and a JonBenét Ramsey Beanie Baby guest star in an episode that takes the girls out of New York City and back to Abbi’s hometown of Wayne, Pennsylvania.
In the opening of this week’s Black-ish, Dre and Bow are barely holding it together as parents. They sent Jack to school with medical waste instead of lunch, Junior’s shirt has a giant iron mark on the back, and they straight up forget about Diane.
The second half of this season of Bosch was action-packed, thrilling, and engrossing, up until episode eight. Unfortunately, the final two episodes of the show were slow and meandering. However, let’s start with the good: Harry Bosch finally shows some emotion.
This week’s episode was slow-moving, revealing little new information while focusing on the search for a different missing child. It was definitely the most boring epsiode yet, but next week’s should be intense, as the ending here promises major fallout.
It’s the long-awaited Hillary Clinton cameo, but whatever your political leanings, I think we can all agree that this was a very funny episode.
The last episode of Black-ish was an instant classic, addressing police brutality in a poignant, touching way. This week’s episode would invariably be a step down, but “Any Given Saturday” was decently funny, once again keeping the focus tight on the Johnson family.
Bosch is back, and improved in all the right ways. The minor characters are further fleshed out and this season has even more of a noir feel to it, with gorgeous shots of Los Angeles and a classic femme fatale played by Jeri Ryan.
Let’s get this out of the way: Flaked is not a comedy in the traditional sense. Fans of Arrested Development, drawn to the show by the allure of seeing Mitch Hurwitz and Arnett together again, be warned.
This week’s episode of The Family reveals more details about the pock-marked man who kept Adam (or should I say “Adam”, because I’m still not convinced he’s actually their child). Not everything completely works, but to the show’s credit, I’m still hooked on the mystery. I need answers!!
This week’s episode sees Ilana trying to be the responsible one—raising money while hunting down a rat—and Abbi the one making bad decisions, meeting up with every single one of her Tinder matches.
Episode two of The Family was considerably less exciting than the premiere. It felt as if the show was spinning its wheels, hammering home the same points again and again (mainly, Adam probably isn’t Adam and Hank isn’t completely innocent).
Ok, The Family. You’ve successfully captured my attention. Can’t wait to see what happens next week.
The cold open of last week’s Broad City featured a hulked out Abbi destroying a child’s basketball, setting up this week’s story: the recently promoted to trainer Abbi, known as “Tonya Harding” to her high school friends, goes all out and then some at Soulstice’s game day.
In this week’s hilarious episode of Broad City, Abbi and Ilana switch places! Watching Abbi wear Ilana’s ridiculous clothing and impersonate her crazy mannerisms was amazing, mainly because the show has worked so hard to create such a memorable, unique character.
Expectations were high going into tonight’s episode of Black-ish. The show has consistently addressed heavy issues with a mixture of humor and heart, and tonight’s episode hit both of those with incredible force.
What a way to end a season! Superstore expertly balanced absurdity with sincerity in a standout episode that takes on Cloud Nine’s corporate overlords, as the team stages a walkout protesting Glenn being fired over trying to find a backdoor way of giving Cheyenne paid maternity leave.
Four and three and two and one, one. Ilana and Abbi are back! Broad City season three opens with a split screen montage of the girls in their respective bathrooms, where we see the months pass by as they eat, smoke, dance, read Hillary Clinton’s autobiography, flush way too many dead goldfish (Abbi), and hook-up (Ilana).
