Season 1, Episode 15 – Bull has its best episode yet, as he faces off against his rival/love interest Diana Lindsay in a case involving a sociopathic billionaire real estate developer accused of manslaughter.
Season 5, Episode 9 – Peter visits Mindy on a hilarious episode, as the two crash Lindsay’s bat mitzvah after Ben neglects to invite Mindy, meeting his ex-wife, the formidable Patricia. Meanwhile, Jody dates a Mindy clone, all while insisting he’s over her.
Season 1, Episode 4 – This week’s episode highlighted the show’s problems—Arthur and Franco’s inconsistent relationship, the underdeveloped minor characters, and the tired humor. It’s four weeks in and there’s no signs of improvement.
Season 2, Episode 15 – This week’s episode was funny, but scattered, and relied too heavily on plots the show’s predecessor, The Office, has already tackled. The store’s corporate-controlled heater malfunctions, causing tensions to rise as the temperatures do.
Season 3, Episode 15 – Dre attends a funeral in Compton, reconnecting with his childhood crew, but experiencing guilt over the fact that he’s the only one who made it out of the neighborhood. There’s some interesting ideas, but the episode could be more focused.
Season 2, Episode 5 – The pacing picks up on an exciting episode of The Path. Hawk is sent to jail after Sarah angers Libby by moving forward with the water testing, while Cal’s paranoia over the news of an FBI informant causes him to make a crucial mistake.
Season 1, Episode 14 – Bull takes on his toughest case yet, helping an army lieutenant accused of espionage for leaking documents detailing unnecessary civilian deaths. However, his eagerness to win at any costs may finally result in real consequences for the team.
Season 5, Episode 8 – The Mindy Project returns for its midseason premiere with an amusing but frustrating episode, as Mindy once again tries to win Ben back while being trapped in a Groundhog Day-like loop.
Season 1, Episode 3 – Superior Donuts tries to teach a lesson this week, but ends up delivering its weakest episode so far. Arthur buys a gun to protect himself, prompting Franco to teach him that guns are bad. It’s an obvious message and the jokes aren’t any better.
Season 2, Episode 14 – On Valentine’s Day, Amy and Glenn try to set up Myrtle with a seemingly perfect match, while Jonah goes undercover for Dina in hopes of catching a repeat shoplifter.
Season 3, Episode 14 – Black-ish returns with an episode that hits all the rights notes, managing to be silly, sweet, and serious all at the same time. Bow and Dre argue over what to name their upcoming child, while Junior puts the moves on Zoey’s friend Shelly.
Season 4, Episode 13 – It’s Valentine’s Day, which is thankfully the catalyst it took to finally shake Erica, pining over Geoff, out of her season-long depression. Adam deals with his own relationship problems, as he fears he’s losing his best friend Chad.
Season 2, Episode 4 – Sarah and Cal learn that the FBI is investigating the movement, which means Abe’s days are probably numbered. After waking up in the hospital, Eddie takes control of his life and admits to himself that he was in a cult.
Season 1, Episode 13 – Bull and his team assist a videogame world champion in a defamation case against his former team manager, who’s publicly accused him of throwing a crucial match.
Season 1, Episode 2 – Franco invents a new donut flavor that has hipsters lining out the door, making Arthur question whether or not he can keep up in a changing world. It’s funny enough, but the show’s reliance on stereotypes is already wearing thin.
Season 2, Episode 13 – Jonah’s forced to confront his growing feelings for Amy while Amy and the rest of the store’s female employees go to a “ladies’ lunch” planned by Dina.
Season 1, Episode 1 – CBS’s new sitcom, centering on a millennial artist (Jermaine Fowler) who teams up with an aging donut shop owner (Judd Hirsch) to help keep his business current in a gentrifying neighborhood, premiered tonight, with an uneven but promising episode.
Season 2, Episode 3 – The main conflicts of the season are further solidified on a slower-paced episode of The Path. Leaving the movement may have put Eddie in danger, Sarah takes steps to help the citizens of Clarksville, and the older Meyerists investigate Steve’s death and last wishes.
