The game is one of the most memorable sporting events in the civil rights movement. It served as a vehicle to challenge racial segregation in athletics and helped to forever change college basketball and advance civil rights in this country.

SHOWTIME has picked up Tom Perrotta’s adaptation of his own bestselling novel THE WISHBONES.  Story, which centers on a group of guys who form a wedding band in their small town but aspire to rock ‘n’ roll greatness, will be produced by John Wells.

Logline: The story follows a couple who survives an avalanche, and upon their return back to their hotel, they find they are the only survivors left. Not long after, they begin to see supernatural visions of their future, and begin to realize this silent world they live in is no longer their own.
