A recap of the week’s executive moves!

Logline: Remake details are kept under wraps. Original film followed a band of 13 samurai who are charged with assassinating a lord who is a known rapist and murderer before he can assume a high political post.

Logline: The remaining human survivors of an alien invasion try to rebuild society when they discover that the aliens are coming back.

Logline: An elite team journeys to foreign county to take down an international criminal. When the mission is compromised, the team finds itself on the run and part of a major conspiracy.

Logline: Set in the 19th century, finds Bram Stroker’s fabled monster hunter Van Helsing summoned to a distant Eastern European land to vanquish evil

Logline: Details kept under wraps, but planned as a reboot to the classic monster movie The Mummy centered around a former Navy SEAL and a “Lara Croft” type archeologist who come across a mummy’s tomb.

Logline: Kept under wraps, but will focus on the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle, which has been home to several disappearances attributed to supernatural or alien origins.

Logline: An inventor of a time machine recruits a team of thieves to go back in time in order to keep his invention out of the wrong hands, an restore an alternate timeline that will save a woman’s life.

Logline: An immigrant barges his way into the criminal establishment in pursuit of a alternative version of the American dream, becoming a drug kingpin through a campaign of ruthlessness and violent ambition.

Logline: Kept under wraps, but will be a gritty sci-fi crime thriller in the vein of “Heat” and “Bourne.”

Logline: After the gruesome murder of their father, three siblings move to their ancestral home in Massachusetts. They soon discover the house has magical keys that give the bearers a vast array of powers and abilities.

Logline: A man’s dysfunctional dependence on an obnoxious teddy bear that his childhood wish magically brought to life threatens to keep him in a state of arrested development.

Logline: An update to the classic Melville novel that will see Captain Ahab as less revenge obsessed and will focus on the other ships that have been wrecked by the whale.

Logline: A hardened captain assigned to protect an outpost on a distant planet must lead a group of young, inexperienced American soldiers in battle against an alien race.

Logline: Kept under wraps, but is based on the epic 17th century poem.

An unnamed British agent leaves his job and tries to leave the country only to be kidnapped and imprisoned in a mysterious village where the residents are monitored and killed or recaptured if they try to escape.

Logline: Follows the true tale of a band of samurai swordsmen who avenged the death of their master in 18th century Japan, as loyalty and honor among the band is put to the test.

Logline: Pitched as being Amblin in tone. Story centers on a team of young human warriors (Brawlers) and the battle creatures they wield (Bakugan).

Logline: Story centers on the soldiers of Delta Squad as they fight to save the human inhabitants of the planet Sera from a relentless subterranean enemy known as The Locust Horde.

Logline: Gary Webb, an investigative reporter in the 1980’s, publishes the truth about the CIA’s secret alliance with Nicaraguan drug dealers during the Iran-Contra Affair only to be discredited by his peers.
