Logline: Set in an old Sicilian villa, follows the story of a match-up between two women: a mother and her son’s fiancee. The two spend the Easter holiday together waiting for the son to show up and slowly get to know each other.

Twenty-eight-year-old Eric Packer traverses Manhattan in a stretch limo. His goal: a haircut at Anthony’s, his father’s old barber. But on this day his driver has to navigate a presidential visit, an attack by anarchists, and a rapper’s funeral. Stuck in traffic, he anxiously monitors the value of the yen on the limo’s computer.

Logline: Follows the true story of Pearl S. Buck, who spent most of her life in China, first as a missionary and later as a novelist who started writing to support her mentally challenged daughter in a special school.
