Syfy debuted a new teaser trailer for Krypton at Comic-Con this weekend. While it’s not as much footage as fans would’ve liked to have seen, this show does look incredibly fun. Here’s hoping it’s as smart as Syfy’s critically acclaimed The Expanse and as cool as any DC series should be!
The minute and a half of Syfy’s upcoming DC series Krypton shows great action drowning in CGI and a grittier world that feels more at home in Rogue One or Firefly than in the Krypton we saw in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel or even CW’s Supergirl.
DC Comics series Krypton has added six series regular castmembers including Ian McElhinney, Elliot Cowan, Ann Ogbomo, Rasmus Hardiker, Wallis Day, and Aaron Pierre. They join previously cast Cameron Cuffe and Georgina Campbell.
Cameron Cuffe has been cast as the male lead in the Syfy Superman prequel series Krypton. Cuffe will play Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El, in the series based on the DC Comics characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
Syfy’s upcoming Superman prequel series Krypton from David S. Goyer and Damian Kindler has found its female lead in English actress Georgina Campbell as Lyta Zod.
