Modern Family star Julie Bowen is set to join the growing cast of Melissa McCarthy comedy Life of the Party. Co-written by McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone, who will also direct, the movie is being likened to the 1986 Rodney Dangerfield classic Back to School.
The cast for Melissa McCarthy’s upcoming comedy Life of the Party continues to grow with the addition of comedic actor and UCB improv maestro Matt Walsh. The Veep star is set to play McCarthy’s husband who is “always wearing golf pants.”
Adria Arjona is circling the Melissa McCarthy-led comedy Life of the Party from New Line Cinema. Arjona, who will star in NBC’s upcoming take on The Wizard of Oz, Emerald City, would join previously cast Gillian Jacobs, Jacki Weaver, Molly Gordon, and Maya Rudolph.
