Liz Meriwether, Lake Bell Comedy “Bless This Mess” Picked Up to Pilot at Fox
Bless This Mess marks Meriwether’s third pilot this season, practically ensuring she will be busy despite wrapping up the seventh and final season of New Girl, which will premiere with eight episodes starting in April.
Colony co-creator Ryan Condal is teaming up with Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik to develop a new adaptation of the books by Robert E. Howard.

The novel was first adapted into a feature film in 2007, co-written and directed by Ben Affleck and starring Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan as the leads.
The newest Shondaland drama will have a two-hour premiere on Thursday, March 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, before moving to its regular 9 p.m. ET timeslot, right between Grey’s and the final season of Scandal.
“We’re three seasons all in,” Harris told TV Guide. “We’ve intentionally been very truthful and factual and loyal to the books.”
Abrams will write and executive produce the series, which HBO will only describe as “an epic and intimate sci fi fantasy drama.”
The untitled project comes from writer and executive producer David Elliot and is set in an wrongful conviction firm. 
Applications will stay open for one week and end at midnight PST on February 7, 2018.
The series, which will premiere in 2019, is set in 1880s New York and follows a wide-eyed young scion of a conservative family.
